This is typically done on a flat surface of the pendant or sometimes on the back. When you order, look for an engraving option on the product page, or you can contact us about adding engraving to your item. Engraving may add a few days to the processing time for your order (since it’s a custom service)

When you fill the chamber and tighten the screw properly (especially if you add a small dab of cremation jewelry sealant as mentioned above), it creates a reliable seal that prevents any accidental opening or leakage

The majority of our pieces are made from medical-grade 316L stainless steel, a metal known for its exceptional durability and corrosion resistance.

This means you can wear it every day without worrying about it rusting, flaking, or fading. (Our stainless steel is also hypoallergenic, so it’s safe for those with sensitive skin.

In addition to stainless steel, we also offer designs in premium materials like solid .925 sterling silver and we plan to introduce white gold options soon. All of these materials are chosen to stand the test of time.

Keep in mind that sterling silver pieces might develop slight tarnish over extended periods (as sterling naturally does), but this can be easily polished off to restore its shine.

It’s generally not recommended to wear your cremation jewelry while swimming, bathing, or immersing it in water for extended periods.

While our stainless steel pieces are highly water-resistant and won’t rust, water (especially chlorinated pool water or salty ocean water) can be harsh on any jewelry over time – it may cause deterioration of finishes or could potentially weaken any sealant around the compartment.

Additionally, wearing a necklace or bracelet in the water comes with the risk of losing it if a chain were to snag or break; losing such a precious item would be heartbreaking.

Occasional contact with water is generally okay – for example, if you get caught in the rain or splashed while washing your hands, it should not cause harm as long as you dry the piece thoroughly afterward.

Yes. You are allowed to wear cremation jewelry during flights and through airport security – the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) does not prohibit it on board.

In fact, many people choose to travel with their memorial jewelry so their loved one’s memory accompanies them everywhere. When you go through the TSA security checkpoint, be aware that you’ll likely need to remove any metal jewelry (including cremation necklaces, bracelets, etc.) as you go through the metal detector or body scanner

Taking care of your cremation jewelry will ensure it remains as beautiful as the memories it represents. Here are some simple care tips:

• Cleaning: To clean the piece, gently polish it with a soft, lint-free cloth. This will remove oils and dirt and keep it shiny. Avoid using any harsh chemicals, silver dips, or abrasive cleaners on the jewelry. Abrasive substances can scratch metals or damage any plating or protective finish. Mild soap and water can be used for a light cleaning if needed (for stainless steel or gold), but make sure to dry the piece completely afterward.
• Wear & Storage: It’s best to remove your cremation jewelry before any activity that might expose it to excessive moisture, chemicals, or rough handling. For example, take it off before swimming, bathing, heavy exercise, or using cleaning chemicals. Although everyday perspiration and oils won’t harm stainless steel, chlorine or saltwater (and even perfume or hairspray on silver pieces) can dull or tarnish jewelry over time. When you’re not wearing it, store your piece in a cool, dry place – ideally in a jewelry box.
• Inspection: It’s a good idea to periodically check the jewelry’s screw or closure to ensure it remains tight. If you ever notice it loosening, you can reapply a tiny bit of jewelry adhesive to reinforce the seal. Also check the condition of any chain or bracelet to ensure it’s secure. With proper care, your cremation jewelry will stay in excellent condition for forever to come, preserving your loved one’s memory in a lasting way.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you need to return or exchange your cremation jewelry, we do have a return policy in place. Unfilled cremation jewelry (i.e. pieces that have not been filled with ashes yet) can be returned for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase.

It’s important that the jewelry is in its original condition and hasn’t been used to hold ashes in order to be eligible for a return. Once a piece has had ashes placed inside, we can no longer accept it back for a refund, due to the personal and delicate nature of what it holds. We appreciate your understanding that filled memorial jewelry cannot be resold or handled by us out of respect and safety for everyone.

For custom engraved or personalized pieces, please note that those are non-refundable once engraved (since they were made uniquely for you). We cannot accept returns or exchanges on items that have been engraved or modified per your request, unless of course there was an error on our part. We always double-check custom orders to make sure they’re perfect.
